BioAbout Me: 25 year old paediatric nurse. Obsessed with books, TV, films and music. I currently work on a children's oncology ward. It can be tough but I really do love my job!

Favorite Music: Still have yet to leave my teenybopper days behind me, though my tastes have widened over the years. I love Pop, Rock, Opera, Punk rock, Dance, Country, Alternative, Folk and a little bit of R&B/Soul, Metal and Classical. Some of my favs are: Westlife, 3 Doors Down, Vertical Horizon, Maroon 5, Edwin McCain, Sugarcult, Lonestar, Lifehouse, Savage Garden, 911, A1, Backstreet Boys, Malachi, Sinead Quinn, Dana Glover, Evanescence, Dashboard Confessional, Rush Of Fools, Kutless, Kelly Clarkson and of course Take That (went to see their comeback tour, best concert I have ever been to!). My fav songs at the moment are: As Long As You're Mine - Idina Menzel & Norbert Leo Butz (from the Wicked musical - brill show, loved Adam Garcia in it), Rain - Patty Griffin, Stolen - Dashboard Confessional, Not Ready To Make Nice - Dixie Chicks, I'm Yours - The Script, Home - Daughtry, Better Than Me - Hinder, Life Is Beautiful - Vega4, I'm Yours - Jason Mraz, New Soul - Yael Naim and One Old Soul - David Sneddon.
Favorite TV Shows: Buffy the Vampire Slayer (BA Shipper), One Tree Hill (Team Leyton!), Chuck (Charah Shipper - NBC better give Chuck a 3rd season it's one of the best shows on TV right now!!!!!!!), Grey's Anatomy (especially yummy Dr Alex Karev! Azzie Shipper), Private Practice, ER (Oh my gosh! My poor Ray! What a good Rommie/Reela ending though... "Finally"!), House (Chase/Cameron Shipper), Scrubs, Without A Trace (Smarty Shipper), Bones (Bones/Booth Shipper), Saved By The Bell, Party Of Five, Lost (Jate Sipper), Friends, Firefly (love this show, should've never been cancelled! Simon/Kaylee Shipper), Maybe It's Me (cancelled too early as well!), Charmed, Farscape, Roswell (Candy Shipper), Coupling, Sabrina, Dharma & Greg, Robin Hood (stupid BBC), Ugly Betty, The West Wing (when Rob Lowe's in it), the first few seasons of CSI - can't stand the Sara/Grissom thing so I can't bring my self to watch it anymore even though I do love Nick Stokes (Snickers Sipper), Ghost Whisperer, Strictly Come Dancing (miss Gethin though!), SpongeBob SquarePants, Moonlight (yet another good show cancelled!) and Brothers & Sisters (Jecca Shipper).
Favorite Movies: Ever After, Simply Irresistible, Serenity, Center Stage, Martha Meet Frank, Daniel and Laurence - the list could go on and on, basically any teen movie, kids movie, romcoms and the odd action film. I loved Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End - I thought it was great, totally made up for the sucky 2nd one and I am once again madly in love with Will! P.S. How cute was the ending after all the credits! Just went to see 17 Again - so much funnier than I was expecting. Zac Efron was looking good and it was lovely to Matthew Perry up there on the big screen - made me miss Friends though.
Favorite Books: Some of my fav authors are: Louise Rennison, Julia Quinn, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Christie Ridgway, Erin McCarthy, Kasey Michaels, Susan Anderson, Carly Phillips, Nicholas Sparks, Jessica Benson, Samantha James, Suzanne Enoch, Lynsay Sands, Karen Hawkins and Christina Dodd - pretty much anything romantic and that has a happy ending. I also like to read TV and Movie Tie In's - I own way too many Buffy books! Plus I love Children's books - everyone should have Peepo in their collection. Currently reading the VERY long awaited season 8 of Buffy - not as good as having it back on TV though, just wish Angel would make an appearance so they can get a start on their forever (I have not given up hope, long live BA)!
